We’ve got some fun events on tap for you this week! From the Mattress Factory’s urban garden party to a jazz festival ending with yoga day at PNC Park, there’s plenty to keep Pittsburghers busy this week.
Friday June 16th
Urban Garden Party
Don’t miss this hot party and fundraiser! Head to the Mattress Factory and enjoy over 40 food and drink vendors and dancing to live music. All proceeds benefit the Mattress Factory’s artistic programs, exhibits and education. For more information on the party click HERE.
Pittsburgh JazzLive International Festival
The Pittsburgh JazzLive International Festival celebrates the great jazz legacy of Pittsburgh. People from around the world come to the city to share a love of music and embracing other cultures. Saturday June 17th
A night of stand-up comedy at the Arcade Comedy Theater with performers like Holly Price, Matt Light and others. The night will feature comedians born and raised in the ‘burgh. For more information on the showcase click HERE.
The Little Mermaid
The iconic Disney classic produced by the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera will be at the Benedum Center through the 25th. Fall in love with the story all over again! 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., $25-$80, for more information on the show click HERE.
Sunday June 18th
Local Ice Cream Walk
This two to three mile walk dubbed easy by Venture Outdoors checks out the sights and sounds of the city. At the end of the walk there’s a stop at a local ice cream shop. $18, $12 for members, for more information on the walk click HERE.
Yoga Day at PNC Park
It’s time for OMs in the Outfield! Participants in the special event get admission to the yoga practice, ticket for the Pirate game later that day, $10 to use for concessions, a yoga block and Pirates baseball cap. Yogis will also be honored during the Pirates pre-game ceremony.
