In Honor of Service: An Americana Concert

Saturday July 1st
Red, White and Brew Bash

Outdoor Yoga with Crunch Fitness

Sunday July 2nd
The concert series at Shadyside Nursery is back with bands, beers and a ton of backyard fun and games. There is fun for the whole family, with squirt guns, a sandbox and more for the kids and cornhole, stump and beers for the adults. “If I Loved You…Rodgers & Hammerstein Revue”
Enjoy the opening of this show in a historic barn at Snuggery Farm in Sewickley Heights. Music from classic musicals like Carousel, The Sound of Music and more will be a wonderful part of Pittsburgh Festival Opera’s 40th season. Summer Artisan Market

Free Tours at the Old Allegheny County Jail
A portion of one of the cell blocks was preserved before the former Allegheny County Jail was renovated 16 years ago. You can now take a 30-minute tour that begins at 12:30 p.m. and a Pittsburgh History and Landmark Foundation docent is on hand to tell you the history of the jail. Tuesday July 4th
4th of July Celebration
Heinz Field’s Fourth of July Celebration is back! Sponsored by Miller Lite, there will be food, free concerts and entertainment and of course, the best view of Pittsburgh’s annual fireworks display. Gates open at 2 p.m. FREE admission, for more information on the celebration click HERE.
4th at the Fort
Celebrate America’s birthday at the Fort Pitt Museum and raise a 36-foot flag with fellow visitors, colonial re-enactors and scouts.
