There’s nothing better than sinking your teeth into a delicious sandwich, stacked high with meats, cheeses and veggies. Luckily, Pittsburgh has some pretty incredible ones. We had to start off with the one sandwich place that Pittsburgh is most known for. The Turkey and Cheese at the original Strip District location (since 1933!) at Primanti’s is topped with their traditional french fries, cole slaw and tomatoes. Wash it down with an Arnold Palmer and you’ve got yourself the place to take your friends and family visiting our amazing city. Primanti’s is Pittsburgh’s sandwich shop!

2. For the ones who love to take charge…Carson Street Deli’s Build Your Own Sandwich

For those who are indecisive, or perhaps have more of a take-charge personality, the Carson Street Deli’s build your own sandwich option is a great idea.
